Crossing the Pond

Jon and I just returned from an amazing trip to the UK. We were performing Circus of Wire Dolls, created by our friend and award winning producer, Brian Coombes. I hope you’ll get a chance to check out the album, which is essentially a rock opera. The album tells the story of a man who creates a miniature circus out of wire, string, and cloth. In his imagination, the performers of his circus come to life with human thoughts and emotions. We got to perform at Trading Boundaries in Fletching, East Sussex and the show featured guest performances by Noel McCalla, Amy Birks, Tim Bowness, and John Hackett. It’s a really fun venue that includes an import store, cafe, and Pub. The whole experience included a delicious three course meal and music from us, of course. The venue is known for featuring prog rock, jazz, and other eclectic styles.

After the shows, Jon and I took some time to visit the Cotswolds, Diddley Squat Farm, and hung out with our friends at Laney Amplification. What a blessing it was to take this adventure. We are hoping to play again in the UK after we release our new music this summer.
